The role holder will be responsible for driving plant availability through ensuring all PPM’s, reactive maintenance, engineering, and process improvements are carried out and implemented in a timely manner. The role holder will drive best practice on a shift basis through high engineering, compliance and H&S standards.\nYour core responsibilities.\nThe role will include working reactively, dealing with machinery problems and breakdowns, as well as working through planned preventative maintenance and project work. The electrical work covers everything from sensors, relays, ac/dc motors, contactors, control panels and PLC’s. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can fault find on PLC’s, preferably Siemens S7, but anything else is considered.\nThe idea candidate will have experience of working in a similar environment, so either manufacturing or industrial or automated, supporting maintenance work. You must be electrical qualified and competent.\nEnsure all accidents, incidents and near misses are reported immediately.\nEnsure housekeeping is maintained to high standards\nMotor electrical and mechanical fault finding, familiarity with MCC layout of panels.\nControls and Instrumentation (temperatures, pressure transducers, flow meters etc). Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings. Electrical fault diagnoses.
