# Maintenance Engineer

Day shifts: 06:00 to 16:00 or 07:00 to 17:00 Night shifts: 17:00 to 03:00 One week per month is on nights Overtime available at x1.5 Salary: £41,792 per year A quick look at the role. The Engineer will be required to effectively and efficiently respond to all operational engineering needs, as directed by the Engineering Supervisor, to reduce operational downtime. To ensure health and safety requirements are always considered and executed. Your core responsibilities. Comply fully with all safety instructions, policies and procedure to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and all others present Where necessary supervise a team of contractors and ensure work is carried out to the standard required Support the Engineering Supervisor in the development of other team members skills and abilities Carry out problem solving activities on the plant and machinery to identify faults and rectify them Carry out maintenance, both preventative and breakdown, on all equipment on the site Proactively identify potential faults and improvement opportunities on the plant and equipment to prevent futur
