Some flexibility on start finish times may occasionally be required and the work may include some weekends if required.\n£30,200 per annum.\nYour core responsibilities\nAccept, physically treat and dispatch packed waste materials, including hazardous products from household collections such as paints, aerosols, oils, batteries and cleaning products.\n\nWork towards daily targets while operating safely in a busy waste transfer station environment.\n\nFollow all health and safety policies and procedures, working effectively as part of a team.\n\nCarry out manual handling, sorting, weighing, repacking and general site housekeeping duties, including cleaning up spilled materials.\n\nOur essential requirements.\nHold a valid, in-date Counterbalance FLT licence.\n\nBe comfortable undertaking manual handling duties and working in a busy waste processing environment.\n\nWaste industry experience would be advantageous, as would supervisory experience, first aid or fire marshal training, and knowledge of mobile or static plant maintenance.\n\nBiffa - we’re changing the way people think about waste\nAt Biffa, we love working with waste.
