DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployments.
• Architect, deploy, and manage services on GCP (App Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, IAM, Networking, Monitoring).
• Administer and optimize MongoDB clusters (replication, sharding, performance tuning, and backups).
• Ensure system reliability, high availability, and disaster recovery across all environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc. ).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance, cost, and reliability of infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications and optimize runtime environments.
• Implement observability solutions (logging, monitoring, alerting) to enable proactive incident management.

Requirements:

• 2.5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially App Engine and Cloud Run.
• Proven experience in MongoDB administration, schema design, replication, sharding, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent).
• Solid knowledge of Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes preferred).
• Skilled in Linux system administration (Ubuntu/CentOS).
• Familiarity with networking, security best practices, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, and GCP Monitoring).
• Strong scripting/automation skills in Shell, Python, or Go.
