We have a culture of growth and achievement powered by innovation, supported by purpose and joy.\nBig-D Construction has an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team in Idaho Falls, ID.\nKey responsibilities include:\nLeads their teams in such a way to maximize the contributions of each team member\nExhibits strong commitment to customer service, both internal and external\nReviews (and fully understands) prime contract with Project Director and provides red line changes\nProvide detailed contractual interpretations to team regarding prime contracts and subcontract agreements\nExperience managing projects in various construction delivery methods to include Design Build, Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC) and Hard bid formats\nFull understanding of design process and able to provide quality control review of plans/specifications\nDevelops solutions to ensure issues never become problems\nBuild strong relationships with other departments within Big-D\nOversees and provides input regarding all issues that require risk management\nDevelops contingency plans to mitigate potential risks to projects\nAbility to recognize project issues and timely acquire/coordinate company resources to support project as required\nSupervises project team’s overall administration and technical direction to single or multiple projects simultaneously\nProactively monitor the progress of the CPM schedule through updated schedules\nOversight of project safety\nHolds team members accountable during all aspects of the project\nEnsures project team is performing all tasks in a streamlined fashion and makes adjustments as necessary\nDirects, guides, assists, plans and supports the design team as required\nClearly, concisely and timely documents all changes or deviations from the contract documents including notifying the Owner of potential issues\nTechnical writing for proposals\nAssist in developing prequalified subcontractor bidders list, review qualifications, and award contracts\nCoordinate construction activities of owners, public agencies, facility operations, tenants and utility companies in order to assure the desired project schedule, budget and quality are achieved\nNegotiates subcontract modifications with subcontractors to manage risk\nEnsures prime and subcontractor contractual requirements are met prior to performing work\nResponsible to provide technical and procedural construction direction to internal and external shareholders\nProvide prompt and accurate reporting of all required costs, changes, schedules and insurance data\nResponsible for review/approval of change order requests and onsite change orders\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in construction management or similar\n6-8 years of related experience working on large ground-up commercial projects\nBenefits:\n Free Medical & Dental Insurance premiums\nHSA (Health Savings Account) with employer contribution\n401k with Match\nLong-Term & Short-Term Disability\nLife Insurance\nSupplemental Benefits\nPTO & Holidays \nVehicle Allowance\nAdditional Job Information\nInterested applicants must submit their resume for consideration using our applicant tracking system.
