This role is responsible for automating operational workflows between our core platforms, shipping internal tools and dashboards used across the company, and building customer- and dealer-facing products, working closely with operations, finance, customer service, sales and our distributor and dealer network.\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with a can-do attitude, a strong drive to fix operational bottlenecks, and experience working across departments to connect teams and find better ways of working, with the ability to turn a loosely defined business problem into working software in a fast-paced, brand-focused environment. Success in this role will be measured by process improvement, project delivery and adoption of the tools this role ships.\nKey Responsibilities\nEssential functions of the role include:\nBuild integrations and automationsbetween Big Green Egg's core systems, including NetSuite (ERP), HubSpot (CRM), Shopify, Microsoft 365/SharePoint and our internal applications.\nDesign, build and ship internal web tools and dashboards end to end:gather requirements directly from stakeholders, build, deploy and iterate on real feedback.\nBuild customer- and dealer-facing tools such as ordering portals and self-service experiences.\nDesign, build and operate AI agents and LLM-powered workflows, including email triage, document and data extraction, reporting and scheduled automations.\nOwn what you ship in production on Microsoft Azure, including App Service, PostgreSQL, Logic Apps and CI/CD deployments.\nIdentify manual, repetitive work across operations, finance, customer service and sales and eliminate it, whether the fix is software or simplifying the process itself.\nSupport and train the people who use what you build, anditerate on their feedback.\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of professional experience building and shipping web applications, integrations or automations, or equivalent experience.\nDemonstrated ability to remove operational bottlenecks, connect departments around a shared source of truth, and figure out unfamiliar systems independently.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage priorities, meet deadlines and follow through on commitments.\nProficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript across the stack (React and Node.js), SQL, and integrating third-party SaaS APIs, with working Python.\nHands-on experience building with LLMs beyond chat, such as agents, structured extraction or automated workflows running in production.\nDaily fluency with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot.\nAbility to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in consumer products, outdoor cooking, retail, dealer/distributor networks, e-commerce, manufacturing, hospitality, eventsorlifestyle brands.\nFamiliarity with NetSuite (SuiteQL, SuiteScriptor REST), HubSpot, Shopify, Microsoft Azure (App Service, Entra ID, managed PostgreSQL, CI/CD with GitHub Actions), agent frameworks or Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, or data pipeline/ETL work.\nInterest in live-fire cooking, outdoor entertaining or the Big Green Egg brand community.\nCompensation and Benefits\nBig Green Egg offers a competitive benefits package, which may include medical coverage, life insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, employee discounts, and other benefits based on position type and eligibility.
