Your expertise will help shape technical architecture, facilitate Agile practices, and guide system development, making a real impact every day.\nTechnical Systems Engineer\nLocation: Annapolis Junction, MD(Eligible for Telework after 60 days)\nClearance Required: TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly\nWhat you will do\nIn this role, you’ll:\nArchitect & Document: Review, revise, and create technical architecture documents to ensure system designs meet mission requirements.\nDefine System Communication: Collaborate with other technologists to determine system communication contracts and ensure seamless integration.\nLead Strategic Sessions: Facilitate Engineering Review Board (ERB) sessions with NSA leadership, influencing key decisions and driving technical excellence.\nGuide System Development: Prepare system engineering management plans, system integration plans, and test strategies to ensure smooth development and implementation.\nCollaborate on Technical Challenges: Work closely with government stakeholders to resolve complex technical challenges and provide expert guidance on system engineering considerations.\nCommunicate with Impact: Translate complex technical information into clear, actionable insights for program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.\nParticipating in Agile Ceremonies: Work with a larger team on two-week sprints, participate in daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, retrospectives, and Scrum of Scrums.\nWhat you should have\nClearance: TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly (required).\nEducation & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline from an accredited college or university\n15+ years of systems engineering experience.\nWhat we'd like you to have\nExperience using Scaled Agile (SAFe), DoDAF and the Cameo architectural tool.\nAbout BigBear.ai\nBigBear.ai is a leading provider of AI-powered decision intelligence solutions for national security, supply chain management, and digital identity.
