We look for smart, driven, and creative team players who are ready to roll up their sleeves and deliver for our customers.\nAbout the Role\nBigMarker is looking for a highly-organized Project Manager to support the facilitation of both internal and client-facing design and development projects, from simple sprints to complex, long-term programs and custom solutions.\nProject Manager responsibilities include acting as a Scrum Master and working closely with our product team to prepare and coordinate comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets. You will perform various coordinating tasks, like scheduling and risk management, maintaining project documentation, and managing communication and integration across teams. A key focus of this role involves managing custom solutions tailored to our clients, with a specific emphasis on events, e-learning, hubs, and linking comprehensive webinar programs and events.\nTo succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate across teams to deliver results on deadlines. Ultimately, the Project Manager's duties are to help ensure that projects are completed on time, and in accordance with high-quality standards.\nA successfulProject Manager should bring a cross-functional toolkit, including a solid understanding of Agile methodologies (acting as Scrum Master), product design, software development lifecycle management, and product marketing, as well as strong communication skills, and the ability to quickly learn and build upon existing knowledge of the software industry.\nFounded in 2010, BigMarker was a pioneer of interactive video on the web. Our HQ is in downtown Chicago.\nResponsibilities\nServe as Scrum Master for cross-functional teams, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.\nManage the end-to-end delivery of custom solutions tailored to client needs, focusing heavily on events, e-learning platforms, and digital hubs.\nStrategize and execute the linking of webinar programs and events to create cohesive, continuous user journeys and content ecosystems.\nCoordinate project management activities, resources, information, and communications.\nBreak projects into doable actions and set timeframes.\nLiaise with stakeholders to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives.\nAssign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.\nMake sure that project objectives are clearly defined, communicated, and achieved as projects evolve.\nHelp with budgeting and resource planning.\nAnalyze risks and opportunities.\nMonitor project progress, monitor and address any issues and risks that arise.\nAct as the point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders.\nUse tools to monitor timelines, working hours, plans, and expenditures.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.\nEnsure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.\nRequirements\nProven work experience as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, or similar role.\nExperience in project management, from conception to delivery, specifically managing custom tech solutions.\nFamiliarity with the events industry, e-learning platforms, hubs, and linking webinar programs.\nAbility to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.\nSolid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nFamiliarity with risk management and quality assurance control.\nHands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Basecamp, Trello).\nDiversity Statement\nBigMarker values diversity of culture and background for the benefit of our team, our product, and our world.
