Development & Sales:\nAchieve the profitability targets of the digital solutions department in-line with Annual Plan.\nEnsure customer satisfaction is maintained enabling repeat business.\nEnsure margin and cash flow expectations are in-line with group parameters.\nWork closely with sales and engineering teams to align efforts and goals\nEnsure quotations and order handling follow the published departmental procedures, with quarterly reviews\nLead and manage the end-to-end sales process for digital solutions, including business development, quotations, and closure.\nDevelop and maintain strategic business partnerships to drive global sales of digital and technology-based solutions.\nIdentify and evaluate market opportunities to expand the company’s digital portfolio.\nProvide guidance and training to business partners and internal sales staff on digital products and market positioning.\nGather market intelligence, client requirements, and insights from global conferences to influence product development and R&D strategies.\nBid Management:\nIdentify, evaluate, and manage bid opportunities for digital services and solutions using Salesforce.\nLead the preparation, submission, and follow-up of bids and proposals, ensuring compliance and competitive positioning.\nMaintain a database of bid performance and continuously refine proposal strategies.\nCustomer Engagement & Market Intelligence:\nBuild and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.\nGather and analyse customer feedback to enhance digital solutions and service offerings.\nDevelop and contribute to user-centric strategies for digital product development and market expansion.\nStay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.\nCompliance & Quality Assurance:\nWork in accordance with the company’s processes and procedures and ensure compliance these.\nSupport internal and external audits to maintain high standards in digital operations and business processes.\nPromote best practices in quality, security, and compliance across digital initiatives.\nEssential Skills\nHNC ore equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.\nStrong commercial acumen with an understanding of digital business models and technology-driven sales strategies.\nProven experience in business development, sales, or leadership within a technology-focused division.\nExceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to analyse market trends, develop strategic insights, and drive business growth.\nExperience in bid and project management\nStrong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.\nIT proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.\nWillingness to travel for international conferences, client meetings, and business development opportunities.\nDesirable skills\nAbility to identify and pursue emerging business opportunities beyond the existing portfolio.\nExpertise in conducting in-depth market research
