The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction leader who can drive safe execution, manage cost and schedule performance, coordinate with engineering and procurement teams, and build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and field personnel.\nThis role plays a key part in ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with all quality and client requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Planning & Execution\nDevelop detailed construction execution plans, schedules, work packages, and resource plans for assigned projects.\nReview engineering drawings, specifications, and construction packages for constructability, completeness, and execution readiness.\nPlan and coordinate construction activities including equipment installations, piping systems, utility tie-ins, maintenance outages, shutdowns, and turnaround work.\nDevelop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor requirements to support project execution.\nCoordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and client representatives to ensure successful project delivery.\nManage project execution to achieve schedule milestones and client expectations.\nIdentify project risks and implement corrective actions to minimize impacts to cost and schedule.\nSafety & Quality Leadership\nLead jobsite safety planning and ensure compliance with Bilfinger, client, OSHA, and regulatory requirements.\nParticipate in hazard assessments, job safety analyses (JSAs), work permits, and pre-task planning activities.\nSupport field supervision in maintaining a safe and productive work environment.\nPromote a proactive safety culture through visible leadership and accountability.\nEnsure quality standards are implemented and maintained throughout project execution.\nSupport inspections, testing, punch list management, turnover documentation, and project closeout activities.\nCost Management & Procurement\nDevelop labor estimates, material takeoffs, and equipment requirements.\nCreate and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.\nMonitor project productivity and cost performance throughout execution.\nManage project change orders and support commercial negotiations with clients and subcontractors.\nWork with Procurement and suppliers to secure materials, equipment, and specialty services.\nDevelop subcontractor bid packages and support subcontractor selection and scope alignment.\nClient & Stakeholder Management\nServe as a primary point of contact with owners, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.\nLead project planning meetings, construction coordination meetings, and client progress reviews.\nCommunicate schedule impacts, field constraints, opportunities, and project risks.\nCollaborate closely with other Construction Managers and project teams to ensure coordinated site execution.\nMaintain professional relationships that support long-term client satisfaction and business growth.\nReporting & Documentation\nCreate and maintain project schedules, progress reports, manpower forecasts, and cost projections.\nTrack project metrics and communicate performance to leadership.\nEnsure project documentation, RFIs, change order records, and construction files are maintained accurately and timely.\nSupport project turnover and closeout documentation requirements.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent industrial construction experience will be considered.\nMinimum 2 years of industrial construction experience, preferably within mechanical, process, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical, consumer products, power, or heavy industrial environments.\nDemonstrated experience managing industrial construction activities and coordinating multiple work fronts simultaneously.\nExperience with shutdowns, turnarounds, maintenance projects, or capital project execution.\nStrong understanding of construction safety, quality, scheduling, cost control, procurement, and subcontractor management.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, piping isometrics, and construction documents.\nExcellent communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.\nPreferred Qualifications\nOSHA 30 Certification.\nExperience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Procore, or similar project management software.\nKnowledge of Lean Construction principles and continuous improvement methodologies.\nExperience preparing subcontractor bid packages and managing construction contracts.\nExperience supporting industrial maintenance, shutdown, and turnaround environments.\nFamiliarity with digital construction tools, construction planning software, and field productivity systems.\nIf you have any questions please contact Jason Alan Jaure ().\nBilfinger is an equal opportunity employer.
