Join us and be part of a team shaping the future!\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign integration: manage multi-discipline coordination and clash/interface resolution.\nInformation management: ensure design information is controlled, current, and issued correctly.\nCDM;\nCoordinate design risk management & CDM compliance. \nChair CDM meetings\nMaintain, update, and issue the CDM Risk Register.\nEnsure design risk assessments are completed and recorded.\nEnsure residual risks are clearly communicated in drawings and specifications.\nCoordinate permanent and temporary works interfaces to avoid unsafe sequencing.\nSupport collation of information for the Health & Safety File.\nRequirements compliance: ensure designs align with client requirements, standards, contract documentation, and legislation.\nLiaise with clients Design Coordinator\nStakeholder and client coordination: structured management of technical communication, reporting, meetings, and registers.\nAttend progress meetings - both internal and external\nCoordinate and review G/35 Design Pack submissions\nMaintain, update, and issue the Stakeholder & Design Activity Schedule.\nCo-ordinate Design Reviews, FPSA Meetings, Constructability and Operability/Maintenance reviews.\nCoordinate document review comments, technical responses, and formal close-out.\nCoordinate and manage RFIs, TQs, and design deviations\nReadiness for procurement and construction: coordinate technical queries, specifications, vendor data, and technical submittals.\nSupport Site teams by responding to TQ’s and addressing design changes\nHandover quality: support O&M readiness and as-built / record information completeness.\nQualifications & Experience\nIf you have the following profile, then we are looking forward to meeting you\nTechnical / Delivery\n10 years experience in multi-discipline projects, in an EPCM / EPC company\nStrong understanding of design stages and construction sequencing\nMulti-discipline coordination capability\nUnderstanding of the current British and European Standards\nFull working knowledge of Microsoft Office\nSafety & Regulation\nExcellent CDM knowledge and design risk management\nDesirable - Have acted as named Principal Designer under CDM 2015 regulations\nDesirable - Knowledge of NGT G/35 Design Change Process\nExperience of working with UK Gas Transmission (desirable) and Distribution Standards and Specifications for all disciplines, specifically focused around compressor stations or another similar highly regulated industry\nBehaviours\nHighly organised and detail focused\nConfident communicator and coordinator\nComfortable operating in regulated environments\nFor additional information please contact Leo Andrew Carvel Taylor by email .\nBilfinger is an equal opportunity employer.
