Join us and be part of a team shaping the future!\nThe Role\nAs an EC&I Project Engineer, you will develop EC&I Construction Work Packs (CWPs) from BUK design, following key client standards and specifications. The CWPs will be used for tendering, sub-contractor management, handover and closeout.\nYou will be based from BUK (Head Office) in Warrington to assist in constructability reviews of EC&I designs with weekly visits to NGT sites.\nThis position offers the opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a multi-discipline project, on national infrastructure for a Key BUK client.\nKey Activities\nDevelop EC&I CWP’s for various design packages, ensuring they meet technical, safety, and regulatory requirements\nEnsure that work packs include all necessary drawings, specifications, procedures, ITP’s, RAMs for a successful delivery\nEnsure that subcontracts awarded are executed within budget and programme requirements, escalating concerns early\nCollaborate with project / construction managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and schedule EC&I installation/commissioning activities\nCoordinate with the sub-contractors to ensure that resources will be available in time for CWP execution\nIdentify potential risks and issues, and proactively address them to avoid delays or safety concerns\nCommunicate with other departments to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project timelines, scope, and deliverables\nEnsure that the EC&I Engineering lead is kept informed of progress and any issues as appropriate\nChair weekly meetings with nominated subcontractors to proactively drive construction\nAttend any meetings with clients and their representatives as required\nEnsure the standards/quality of handover documentation is delivered and that accurate records are being produced\nMake independent decisions on issues, providing expert technical support within the project delivery team.\nExperience & Qualifications\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in E,C&I engineering, with at least 2 years in a hazardous industry, such as petrochemical, oil and gas, nuclear.\nMSc/Degree/ HND/C in discipline or related field experience\nCEng or IEng (Chartered/Incorporated) Preferred\nGood communication skills required\nGood interpersonal skills required as part of a large project team\nSuitable IT skills - MS Office\nSelf-motivated to achieve client deadlines\nFor additional information please contact Leo Andrew Carvel Taylor by email .\nBilfinger is an equal opportunity employer.
