This position requires a self-motivated individual to perform the detailed planning and scheduling of construction work and ensure that the project is constructed safely and in accordance with all design, budget, and schedule requirements.\nResponsibilities include:\nThis individual will be responsible for the detailed planning and scheduling of the electrical work to which they are assigned. \nIntegrate multiple engineering information packages and develop construction plans and other deliverables for the field and supervision.\nReviewing engineering information packages including design drawings for constructability and completeness.\nInsures that proper safety procedures are specified and documented on all planned jobs.\nDevelops a plan for completion of all work orders, including an estimate of the labor required and a listing of the parts or materials needed.\nDeveloping detailed construction plans and other deliverables for the field and supervision.\nWork with Procurement, Engineering and outside suppliers as required to order all parts and materials required to complete any given task and lists them in the work order plan.\nParticipates in planning detailed shutdown and turnaround work.\nWork closely with other Construction Managers to ensure job is running as a unit toward a common goal.\nDirect interface with Owner & Engineers.\nAbility to be the liason between the design firms and field crews and provide timely feedback.\nResponsible for Construction Cost Management including change orders for jobs they are responsible for.\nSubcontractor bid package writing.\nRequirements:\nThe ideal candidate should have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management, with 2 to 3 years of Industrial Construction experience.\nPrior experience with electrical construction, safety, and quality.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, time management and organizational skills are required.\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.\nUnderstanding of LEAN principles preferred.\nOSHA 30 Training preferred.\nCapable of handling multiple projects\nCollaboration and team building skills.\nProblem solving & negotiating skills.\nPaper converting experience is highly preferred.\nIf you have any questions please contact Jason Alan Jaure ().\nBilfinger is an equal opportunity employer.
