You will develop, implement and continually improve operational processes, procedures and standards to ensure consistent delivery across all locations.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperational Leadership\nManage team performance, workload planning and resource allocation to meet business priorities and customer commitments.\nProvide operational leadership for software deployment, integration activities and support services.\nDrive operational excellence through standardisation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.\nService Delivery & Support\nEstablish and manage support and maintenance processes for deployed OT Solutions.\nEnsure effective incident, problem, change and release management practices are implemented and maintained.\nMonitor service performance and customer satisfaction, identifying opportunities for improvement.\nOversee the transition of projects into operational support ensuring solutions are supportable, documented and maintainable.\nMaintain operational readiness and business continuity for customer-facing solutions.\nSoftware Development & Integration Management\nProvide leadership and direction to the Software Team.\nEnsure software development activities align with agreed customer requirements and business objectives.\nSupport the development and adoption of secure, scalable and maintainable automation software solutions.\nEnsure integration projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to agreed quality standards\nPromote reuse, standardisation and modular approaches across all solution deployments\nProject & Delivery Coordination\nProvide oversight of OT Digital Solution delivery activities and project co-ordination functions.\nWork closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Customer stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.\nMonitor delivery performance, risks, dependencies and resource requirements.\nSupport planning and prioritisation of operational and project activities across the Digital Solutions portfolio.\nContinuous Improvement\nContribute operational insight into solution development, solution enhancement and technology roadmaps.\nIdentify opportunities to improve service delivery, operational efficiency and customer value.\nSupport the evolution of Digital Solutions.\nParticipate in lessons learned activities and implementation of corrective actions.\nCustomer Engagement\nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, partners and internal stakeholders.\nAct as an operational escalation point for service and delivery matters.\nSupport customer reviews, service reporting and operational planning activities.\nGather feedback from customers and delivery teams to support continual improvement.\nCompliance & Quality Assurance \nWork in accordance with the company's Quality Management System (QMS).\nSupport internal and external audits to maintain high standards in operational delivery and software development practices.\nEnsure operational activities are aligned with cyber security, quality and governance requirements.\nPromote best practice in safety, quality and operational excellence throughout the department.\nSkills & Experience\nHND or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.\nProven experience managing operational delivery, software development, systems integration or service delivery teams.\nStrong understanding of OT, industrial automation, digital technologies and operational environments.\nExperience managing multidisciplinary technical teams and project resources.\nStrong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience implementing operational processes, standards and governance frameworks.\nKnowledge of software delivery lifecycles, deployment methodologies and support models.\nStrong organisational, planning and prioritisation abilities.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project/service management tools.\nDesirable\nExperience operating within industrial, manufacturing, energy or critical infrastructure sectors.\nKnowledge of OT cyber security principles and secure-by-design practices.\nExperience developing and managing service-level agreements and support frameworks.\nUnderstanding of product lifecycle management and product-based operating models.\nExperience implementing DevOps, automation or continuous improvement methodologies.\nProject management qualifications or relevant operational leadership certifications.\nExperience managing geographically distributed teams.\nFor additional information please contact Leo Andrew Carvel Taylor by email .\nBilfinger is an equal opportunity employer.
