To achieve its goals, Bilfinger has identified two strategic levers: Operational Excellence to continuously improve its own efficiency and performance, and Market Expansion to strengthen customer orientation and establish Bilfinger as the partner of choice.\n\nJob Purpose/Summary:\n\nThe Project Material and Preservation Coordinatorwill be responsible for assisting with all aspects of cataloguing, inventorying and preserving all materials associated with 6 semi completed facilities. Materials will be received from the Contractor through a proceduralised workflow. From this point all the materials will require storage and preservation management. The role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to maintain optimal condition of the materials while complying with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.\n\nJob Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:\n\nBelow are the primary responsibilities related to Project Material and Preservation Coordinator, but are not limited to:\nAdhere to Bapco Upstream’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures related to materials management.\nArrange for, under the supervision of the Project Material Controller, the receipt of all materials associated with 6 semi completed facilities.\nInspect materials for basic quality and quantity in accordance with company standards. Call for QC checks as and when necessary.\nEnsure proper tagging and labelling of materials upon receipt for easy tracing and tracking. \nCoordinate the storage locations of received materials and ensure correct storage conditions.\nCoordinate preservation of materials in line with preservation procedures. \n\nHSE Responsibilities:\n\nTake personal responsibility for performing each job safely for the benefit of self, co-workers, contractors and the protection of facilities and the environment.\nTake action to correct or stop any unsafe conditions or practices and reports incidents, injuries, near misses, and Safety observations.\nConduct all work activities in accordance with Company policies and procedures.\n\nJob Context:\n\nPosition will be largely based at the Project Materials Warehouse with the requirement to travel within the Oil Field to various other laydown areas and occasionally to RUW Office.\n\nQualifications: (Education, Experience, Skills & Professional Certifications):\n\nEducation:\n\nHigh school diploma (or Equivalent) with experience in materials management.\n\nExperience:\n\n3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Project Materials.\n\nSkills:\n\nGood computer skills in Excel, Outlook and Word.\nAbility to read and understand Specifications and Procedures\nEffective communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.\nDemonstrated knowledge of successful Materials Control, Preservation and Logistics of Project Materials.\n\nProfessional Certifications:\n\nNone required\n\nAdditional Information:\n\nThe requirements listed above are not meant to be an exhaustive list of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities re­quired for this position.\nThis job description should not be construed as a comprehensive statement of essential functions, duties, responsi­bilities or requirements, but a general description of the job.
