The inspector will perform regular inspections, assessments, and tests on piping systems to ensure they meet industry standards, regulations, and customer specifications. This position requires attention to detail, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.\nYou will be site based in the PUMA project offices.\nThis position offers the opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of large-scale construction project, ensuring the quality and safety of all piping / mechanical systems.\nAs a QA / QC Engineer, your activities will include the following, but are not limited to:\nPrepare and review Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans and supporting QA documentation. \nProvide Quality related technical support for the project\nReview vendor/supplier Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans. \nLiaise with Welding Engineers and Project Engineers in relation to submission of documentation and QA requirements for projects / maintenance.\nCo-ordinate and advise guidance on material certification, welding, NDT and other quality requirements. \nCo-ordinate the QA/QC Engineering function within M, E & I disciplines for BP FPS. \nLiaise with 3rd party inspectors and co-ordinate the Inspection function. \nRaise Continuous Improvement Forms (CIFs) as appropriate and liaise with Client’s QA departments. \nEnsure all quality documentation/records are maintained within the Company’s Business Management System (BMS). \nEnsure quality performance monitoring is maintained and reviewed accordingly against KPIs. \nContribute to the improvement and technical capabilities of the Company. \nQuality Auditing - Internal and External\nSupport the existing QA team on site\nQualifications\nCSWIP Level 3.1 Welding Inspector \nPCN level 2 - MPI / DPI \nRecognised Lead Auditor qualification (9001) \nONC/HNC Mechanical Engineering (Desirable) \nRadiograph Interpretation (Optional)\nIf you have any questions please contact Carla Yvonne Bowman ().\nBilfinger is an equal opportunity employer.
