To achieve its goals, Bilfinger has identified two strategic levers: Operational Excellence to continuously improve its own efficiency and performance, and Market Expansion to strengthen customer orientation and establish Bilfinger as the partner of choice.\nRotation\n14 days on 14 days off shift\nMain Purpose\nThe Senior NDT Coordinator is responsible for management of the interface between Bilfinger and the Fabrication partner. Responsible for a small team of NDT coordinators, the Senior NDT coordinator shall ensure safe, effective and efficient working and liquidation of backlog. In additional to the backlog, the senior NDT coordinator shall implement working practises, build relationships, attend planning meeting and drive forward productivity of the NDT teams.\nMain Responsibilities\nCoordinate execution of NDT scopes.\nAttend planning meeting, ensuring NDT is added as a stage gate.\nInfluence fabrication partner to ensure scaffold, lighting and relevant enabling works are completed.\nTrack backlog and develop liquidation plans.\nManage small team of coordinators, develop and coach as required.\nAct as single point of contact for Fabrication partner and BUK.\nRepresent Bilfinger at planning meetings, raise awareness of BUK requirements, raising awareness of backlog and support the fabrication partner in resolution of blockers.\nChampion right first time methodology\nHold fabrication partner to account for shortfalls\nMonitor, track and feedback on progress against defined plan.\nProduce priority list request based on project requirements for consideration by the client.\nIdentify bottlenecks within planning, inspection and reporting processes.\nSupport the implementation of digital workflows to improve operational efficiency.\nHealth, Safety & Environment\nPromote a strong safety culture across all NDT activities.\nEnsure personnel comply with company and client safety requirements.\nSupport incident investigations and corrective action implementation when required.\nParticipate in safety meetings, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nReduction in last-minute resource conflicts.\nImproved client satisfaction scores.\nMonitor progress of backlog liquidation.\nExperience & Qualifications\nExperience in a similar role within the Inspection Industry (5+ years).\nSound working knowledge of NDT and ANDT equipment its use, application and maintanence. \nRadiation Protection Supervisor competence and Qualification (ARS) preferred, not essential. \nAwareness of NDT codes, standards and procedures.\nCurrently or previously held CSWIP 3.2 Welding Inspector.\nAbility to lead teams.\nAbility to Influence others.\nExcellent interpersonal skills, active listener and ability to provide coaching and support.\nThis role offers an exciting, challenging and rewarding opportunity to be an integral part of Bilfinger UK’s, growing inspection team on Hinkley Point C, contributing to the future of the UK's Nuclear new build sector.\nIf you have any questions please contact Sairah Gibson ().\nBilfinger is an equal opportunity employer.
