Duties shall include but not limited to planning, coordination, and inspections to ensure continuous production of systems are consistent with established codes and standards. Must be a certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or an ASNT VT Level II with entry level or greater experience in Quality and inspection. Will be required to work in the office, plant operations or construction jobsite settings. Have a basic understanding of ASME BPVC, AWS D1.X, NBIC, and API codes. Also, be able to inspect no-welding work as required. Must learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work and learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment. Will be required to work in a plant operations or construction jobsite setting.\nResponsibilities\nSupport the Bilfinger Quality Manual and related programs\nMonitor all quality related activities on the project\nCoordinate with Site Leader for quality improvements with respect to overall Quality program.\nCoordinate NDE vendor activities\nComplete site quality control instructions and action remedial responses\nVerify that contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and confirms contractor documentation submittals\nEnsure that safety is adhered to at site\nEnsure all technical documents relative to site quality control are current in status\nPut test packages together for client\nProvide inspection activity for in place products\nInvestigate and adjust customer issues regarding quality\nAssist Construction as needed\nQualifications\nPhysical\nMust be able to lift up to 25 lbs., but may occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.\nHearing and comprehension is necessary for giving and receiving directions \nWill need to perform sedentary to heavy work\nWill operate office equipment of all types\nWill operate inspection hand gages of all types\nClimb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds\nRequired to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis\nPosition may require prolonged bending/twisting, walking, reaching overhead, squatting, sitting or standing and lifting\nMust be able to manipulate and traverse uneven terrain, ladders, and multi-floor buildings with no elevator\nMust be able to walk on uneven surfaces, muddy conditions, loose rock, loose/soft sand, etc.\nWill be exposed to adverse weather conditions (Heat, Cold, Rain, Etc.)\nVision requirements include ability to pass a Jaeger 1 visual acuity test and color blind test \nAbility to drive cars/trucks as needed\nMental\nMust have the ability to communicate effectively with management/ supervision\nTalking and reading & writing comprehension is necessary for giving and receiving directions to perform work and/or safety policy\nAbility to use math/complete calculations\nWork at various tempos, and concentrate amid distractions\nDecision making skills necessary\nDetail-oriented; must be able to remember, examine, and observe details\nOther Requirements\nWilling to acquire additional certifications as required\nComputer literate with functional knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe\nMust be willing to travel on short but reasonable notice\nMust be able to work overtime as needed\nWilling to accept short project assignments\nHave or be able to obtain TWIC/TSA clearance\nHave or be able to pass Basic Plus or equal safety training\nWill to learn and to assist with Bilfinger`s ASME/NBIC Code Stamp Program.\nIf you have any questions please contact Jason Alan Jaure ().\nBilfinger is an equal opportunity employer.
