This role sits at the intersection of operations, scheduling, and vendor support - you’ll be the connective tissue between our Sales Operations (SOPS) team, our phlebotomy network, and the patients we serve.\nThe Phlebotomy Operations Specialist holds a pivotal role in the organization, managing and growing our network of In-Office Phlebotomists (IOP) and Patient Service Center (PSC) phlebotomists across the country. The ideal candidate for this role is an ambitious and highly organized individual who is comfortable owning logistics at a national scale and who works well cross-functionally with sales, contracts, and operations teams.\nThe Phlebotomy Operations Specialist is a full-time remote position and reports to the Phlebotomy and Vendor Operations Manager.\nWorking hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM local time, based on business needs.\nResponsibilities:\nRecruit, place, and manage In-Office Phlebotomists (IOP) on a national scale.\nRecruit, place, and manage PSC-based phlebotomists across our growing site network.\nSupport the setup of new Patient Service Centers (PSC), including site identification, staffing, and readiness for launch.\nBuild and maintain relationships with phlebotomy vendors and site partners nationwide.\nOwn the scheduling process for both IOP and PSC phlebotomists, ensuring consistent coverage and minimal service gaps.\nManage end-to-end onboarding for new phlebotomists, including credentialing, training coordination, and compliance documentation.\nManage phlebotomy supply inventory across sites (draw kits, PPE, shipping supplies, etc.).\nMonitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent disruptions to draw operations.\nServe as the operational point of contact for the Sales team on all phlebotomy-related needs for the NIPT product line.\nEnsure timely, accurate responses to sales inquiries regarding phlebotomy coverage and site status.\nDeliver best-in-class support that reflects BillionToOne's patient-first mission.\nQualifications:\nExperience in phlebotomy operations, healthcare staffing, or vendor management (healthcare/diagnostics industry preferred).\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities across a distributed, national network.\nStrong organizational skills with comfort owning scheduling and logistics at scale.\nClear, proactive communicator who works well cross-functionally with sales, contracts, and operations teams.\nComfortable working with data and operational metrics to track network performance.\n4-year college degree or equivalent experience required.\nWillingness to travel up to 25% to help set up and launch new PSCs.\nNice-To-Haves:\nExperience with scheduling, staffing, or vendor-management software (e.g., Salesforce or similar CRM/logistics tools).\nBackground specifically in prenatal (NIPT) or oncology diagnostics.\nExperience opening or launching new Patient Service Center sites.\nProject management experience across distributed, multi-site teams.\nBenefits and Perks:\nWorking alongside brilliant, kind, passionate and dedicated colleagues, in an empowering environment, toward a global vision, striving for a future in which transformative molecular diagnostics can help millions of patients\nOpen, transparent culture that includes weekly Town Hall meetings\nThe ability to indirectly or directly change the lives of hundreds of thousand patients\nMultiple medical benefit options; employee premiums paid 100% of select plans, dependents covered up to 80%\nExtremely generous Family Bonding Leave for eligible employees (16 weeks, paid at 100%)\nSupplemental fertility benefits coverage \nRetirement savings program including a 4% Company match\nIncrease paid time off with increased tenure\nLatest and greatest hardware (laptop, lab equipment, facilities)\nAt BillionToOne, we are proud to offer a combination of a base pay range (actual amount offered is based on experience and salary/equity options split that the candidate chooses), (2) generous equity options offering, (3) corporate bonus program, on top of (4) industry leading company benefits (free healthcare options, 401k match, very generous fully paid parental leave, etc.).\nFor this position, we offer a total compensation package up to $126,113 per year, including a base pay range of $85,748 - $96,466 per year.\nBillionToOne is an equal opportunity employer.
