of the Role\n\n To support the Internal Audit Manager in safeguarding organizational assets, monitoring compliance, and testing internal controls across the head office and branch network.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Participate in monitoring and evaluation of compliance with organizational procedures and regulations.\n\n Keep track of actual expenditure against budget allocations.\n\n Assist in verifying accuracy of records by carrying out actual stock-taking Participate in Audit investigations\n\n Participate in assessing the efficacy of existing controls, systems processes and procedures by subjecting them to weakness tests.\n\n Work with senior officers to re-examine and amend as necessary the existing safeguards and standards to make them more full proof\n\n Assist seniors to compile and submit reports on reconciliation and evaluation aspects of organizational assets.\n\n Maintain internal audit working paper files.\n\n File documents in the department.\n\n Maintain registers used in the department.\n\n Coordinate dispatches from the department.\n\n Any other duties as assigned\n\nThe Person\n\nFor the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:\n\n Should be 25 years and above\n\n Be a holder of a business related degree. \n\n Completed CPA Part 2\n\n Have a minimum of grade B plain at KCSE\n\n Have at least At least 2 years’ experience in an internal audit department of a financial institution preferably the Microfinance sector\n\n Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.\n\n Excellent verbal and written communication \n\n Hold a valid certificate of good conduct (to be provided once successful) \n\nCompetencies\n\n Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel and Power BI.\n\n Driven by integrity, results, with good interpersonal skills, a team player, bold and
