As an Applied AI Agent Engineer young talent, you will take on a hands-on builder role at the intersection of LLMs and production systems, working alongside full-time engineers on agent workflows, tool integrations, backend services, and AI system architecture from day one.\nThis is not a shadowing role. You will own deliverables, run experiments, and ship code that matters.\nWhat You'll Do\nSupport the design and development of AI agent workflows and LLM-powered application components\nBuild and test prompt strategies, retrieval flows, tool-use logic, orchestration patterns, and backend integrations\nAssist in defining evaluation metrics, running benchmarks, and analyzing failure cases\nImprove system performance across quality, latency, reliability, safety, and cost\nUse AI coding tools as a normal part of your workflow to accelerate development and problem-solving\nCollaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to understand how production AI systems are designed, deployed, and improved\nContribute to backend services, APIs, internal tools, or lightweight user interfaces when needed\nWhat We're Looking For\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field\nExpected graduation in 2026 or 2027\nSolid programming skills in Python or Java; familiarity with backend engineering is preferred\nGood problem-solving ability and comfort working with APIs, debugging, and data\nStrong curiosity about LLMs, AI agents, automation, and real-world system design\nAbility to break down ambiguous problems and move from idea to working prototype\nComfortable learning quickly and working in a fast-moving environment\nAvailable for a 6-month full-time commitment\nBonus Points\nHave experience in Ontology/semantica\nPersonal projects or coursework involving LLM applications, agent systems, automation, or AI-assisted development\nFamiliarity with OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, Hugging Face, LangChain, vector databases, or workflow tools\nExperience with Git, databases, backend services, or cloud platforms\nWhat Makes You a Fit for Tech Seeds 2026\nYou are curious, proactive, and builder-minded.
