Our mission is to increase the freedom of money and financial access for people around the world.\nAbout the role:\nThe Social Media and Content Intern supports the social team in producing native, platform-first content for TikTok, Instagram (Reels), X, and YouTube (Shorts). This is a hands-on, on-camera and in-edit role: the intern is expected to ideate, appear in, shoot, and edit short-form video and to move fast on emerging trends so the brand stays culturally current.\nThis role suits someone who lives on these platforms, understands their visual language, and can turn a brief (or a trending format) into a finished, publish-ready clip with minimal supervision.This role will support the social media team across content creation, publishing, community management, creator coordination, and reporting.\nKey responsibilities include:\nCreate short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, from concept to publish-ready edit.\nAppear on camera for relevant formats, including explainers, trends, street-style content, and scripted or semi-scripted videos.\nMonitor TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube for emerging trends, sounds, formats, and challenges, and help turn relevant trends into timely content.\nApply strong hook and retention thinking across content, using visual, audio, and narrative techniques to improve watch-through.\nEdit videos using CapCut and native platform tools, ensuring captions, pacing, transitions, sound sync, and safe zones follow platform best practices.\nAdapt content for each platform rather than cross-posting identical versions.\nSchedule and publish approved content across TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube, including captions, hashtags, tags, cover frames, alt text, and QA checks.\nMaintain the content calendar, asset trackers, and publishing statuses.\nSupport social listening by tracking brand mentions, keywords, competitor activity, sentiment shifts, and relevant conversation trends.\nMonitor comments, DMs, and mentions, draft approved responses, and escalate sensitive or compliance-related queries.\nSupport the MENAP Creator Program by managing creator communications, distributing weekly briefs, tracking deliverables, logging content links, and flagging missed deadlines or off-brief content.\nHelp maintain the creator database and scout potential new creators across TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube.\nPull social performance metrics and support weekly or monthly reporting, highlighting learnings around engagement, retention, and content performance.\nExpected Deliverables:\n3-5 publish-ready short-form videos per week.\nScheduled and published posts in line with the content calendar.\nWeekly trend shortlist with recommended formats or sounds.\nWeekly social listening highlights.\nUpdated MENAP Creator Program tracker and weekly creator briefing distribution.\nCommunity management support with escalations logged.\nInput into weekly or monthly performance reporting.\nParticipation in weekly planning and review sessions.\nRequirements:\n- Proven ability to create short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts (portfolio, personal account, or previous work).\n- Comfortable and natural on camera.\n- Deep, current understanding of TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube trends and culture, with the instinct to move fast.\n- Strong understanding of hooks (visual, audio, and video) and how they drive retention.\n- Proficient in CapCut and Instagram's native editing tools.\n- Strong sense of pacing, framing, and platform-native visual language.\n- Organized, deadline-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.\n- Strong written communication and relationship-management skills able to interact professionally with external creators and represent the brand in outreach.\n- Comfortable learning and working in social media tools (publishing/scheduling, listening, and analytics platforms).\n- Bilingual English/Urdu is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
