Our mission is to increase the freedom of money and financial access for people around the world.\nAbout the Role\nBinance is seeking a Fraud Prevention Analyst to join our Brazil fraud team, focused on transactional monitoring, investigation, and fraud prevention within the Pix ecosystem. This role is central to our fiat operating channel, this is a high-volume, high-accountability function where timeliness and attention to detail are needed. \nKey Responsibilities:\nMonitor and action alerts generated by anti-fraud rules and tooling.\nInvestigate suspicious accounts and transactions, including beneficiary chains traced by MED 2.0 (up to 5 layers).\nExecute, within delegated authority, precautionary blocks, account blocks, and relationship terminations.\nHandle MED (Mecanismo Especial de Devolução) requests - both received and sent - within the deadlines set by the Pix Regulation, including the 7-day merit-analysis clock (weekends and Brazilian holidays included).\nRecord and query fraud markings in DICT and comply with all applicable regulatory flows.\nRequest information and documents from customers and track responses through to resolution.\nPrepare analysis dossiers with clear, objective, well-founded reasoning.\nEscalate cases with indications of money laundering (AML/TF) to the Compliance/PLD-FTP area for assessment of reporting to COAF.\nIdentify false positives and propose parameter adjustments and new detection rules.\nTrack key indicators: alert volume, response time, false-positive rate, and amounts blocked and recovered.\nEssential Requirements\nMinimum 2 years of experience in fraud prevention or transaction monitoring within a financial institution or payment institution.\nHands-on experience with Pix: MED, precautionary blocking, DICT, and fraud markings.\nKnowledge of the main fraud typologies affecting banking and payment rails.\nWorking knowledge of AML/CFT (PLD/FTP), banking secrecy, and LGPD.\nStrong writing skills for producing opinions, dossiers, and formal communications.\nFluency in Portuguese; working proficiency in English (Binance is a global organization and you will need to deal with global teams on a daily basis).\nEducation: Bachelor's degree (Ensino Superior) minimum.\nNice to Have\nExperience parameterizing or calibrating anti-fraud rules.\nFamiliarity with high-value vs. low-value case triage workflows.\nWhy Binance\nShape the future of finance \nCollaborate with world-class talent in a user-centric global organization with a flat structure\nTackle challenging projects in a fast-paced and innovative enviornment with autonomy\nThrive in a results-driven workplace with opportunities for career growth and continuous learning\nCompetitive salary and company benefits\nRemote-first, work-from-home arrangement (may vary depending on the nature of the role and team)\nBinance is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
