The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and high-quality delivery of engineering solutions.\nEssential Functions:\nDevelop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to deliver new products to the market based on the Binks product roadmap for each business unit\nDefine project scope, deliverables, and milestones in collaboration with technical leads and stakeholders, including Product Managers.\nManage multiple R&D projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget, following the Binks R&D stage gate process to deliver high quality, differentiated solutions to the market. \nFacilitate project meetings, track progress, and identify and mitigate risks or bottlenecks.\nEnsure resource allocation aligns with project needs and departmental priorities.\nProvide regular project updates, status reports, and presentations to stakeholders.\nFoster collaboration across departments within each interdisciplinary project team.\nMonitor project costs and ensure financial accountability.\nIdentify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks to project success.\nSupport continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes and lessons learned.\nEnsure projects adhere to Binks global engineering standards, safety regulations, and company policies.\nCoordinate regulatory processes, documentation, and approvals for products sold into regulated markets.\nQualifications: \nBachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field\n3+ years of experience in program or project management within an R&D or engineering environment.\nProven experience managing projects with cross-functional teams.\nStrong understanding of the R&D lifecycle, from concept to commercialization.\nPMP or equivalent certification is a plus.\nExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nExceptional written and verbal communication abilities.\nProficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project).\nExperience in the fluid Handling industry is a plus: paint, powder, electrostatics, and/or sealants & adhesives\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
