While based out of Burnaby, this position also offers a hybrid work environment.\nOur Project Delivery Division manages client projects including highways, bridges, transit upgrades, facility upgrades, landfills, and utilities. All our Project Managers work within the guidelines of the Project Management Institute. We have supported many of them in getting their PMP designation. We’re looking for someone to take on this challenging role and take advantage of our mentorship opportunities.\nYou will play a key role in a talented and diverse team of Project Managers at varied experience levels. You will work with our experienced Project Managers assisting in providing planning, direction, and reporting to meet the specific project needs of our clients.\nYOUR ROLE:\nManaging project documentation and correspondence\nAttending project meetings and distributing minutes\nAssisting with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating resources\nServing as the point of contact for clients and advising Project Managers of issues\nMonitoring project costs and preparing estimates\nEnsuring work meets Binnie’s quality standards and client expectations\nPerforming site reviews\nAssisting Project Managers with proposals\nWHAT YOU BRING:\nA minimum of 2 years of previous related work experience in a civil engineering environment with direct exposure to Project Management or owners' representation services\nExperience in facilitates and/or utilities projects is a plus\nCompleted Degree/Diploma focused in Civil Engineering\nCAPM Certification is an asset\nRegistration as an EIT or P.Eng. with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC) or a GradTech with ASTTBC is an asset\nValid Driver’s License and personal vehicle\nProficient with MS Office Suite\nConstruction experiences an asset\nExcellent organization and time management skills\nExceptional communication and teamwork skills\nProactive and takes action to resolve client issues\nABOUT BINNIE:\nWe are the people behind the infrastructure you use every day.
