This is a full-time position based out of our Burnaby Office, located near scenic Deer Lake.\nSome of our ongoing and recent projects include the Fraser River Tunnel Project, Steveston interchange project, Patullo Bridge Replacement Project and Highway 91/17 Upgrade Project.\nYou will work with our experienced Senior Project Managers and our talented engineering team to ensure we meet our clients’ needs. This is an excellent opportunity for advancement. You will utilize your excellent client networking and business development skills to secure new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with our existing clients.\nYOUR ROLE:\nActing as the main point of contact on projects working with clients, stakeholders, consultants, contractors and support staff\nManaging major transportation engineering projects on behalf of the Owner’s Engineer Team or Design Team.\nProviding directions to staff and subconsultants\nEngaging in active business development\nLeading proposals in coordination with our Proposal Team\nDeveloping project schedules and coordinating resources\nMonitoring budget and progress on projects\nProactively supporting clients and anticipating project needs\nOverseeing the correct implementation of our quantity management system and application of design standards for engineering work.\nWHAT YOU BRING:\nA minimum 4+ years of related technical experience in transportation engineering or project management in a civil engineering environment\nRegistration as a P.Eng. preferred\nDemonstrated experience delivering presentations to internal and external stakeholders\nValid Class 5 Driver’s License and personal vehicle\nExceptional project management, design, and time management skills\nPositive attitude and dependable with the ability to work cooperatively and productively in a multidisciplinary team environment\nDemonstrated team management and delegation skills\nProven conflict resolution capabilities\nStrong communication and time management skills and ability to work concurrently on several different projects\nExcellent attention to detail to consistently produce accurate, high-quality work\nABOUT BINNIE:\nWe are the people behind the infrastructure you use every day.
