For more information visit www.binsentry.com.\nThe Role\nBinSentry is seeking an Accountant who thrives in an agile environment and is eager to learn full-cycle accounting and help build scalable processes. This is a hands-on role with significant growth potential, ideal for someone who is ready to build their skills, grow into ownership of key accounting functions, and make an impact.\nKey Responsibilities\nAccounts & Allocations: Support general ledger accounts including deferred revenue, inventory, and COGS.\nMonth-End Close: Preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and assist with variance analysis.\nAudit Support: Prepare supporting schedules and respond to external auditor requests to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.\nProcess Improvement: Document current processes and suggest improvements to accounting processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy as the company scales.\nCollaboration: Work cross-functionally with other departments, including Operations, Sales, and Development.\nDay-to-Day Accounting: Process vendor bills, and manage customer billing and master data in NetSuite.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nIn your first year you will:\nOwn an assigned set of month-end close tasks, delivering clean, accurate reconciliation on time each month.\nEstablish strong working relationships across Operations, Sales, and Development to provide actionable accurate reporting and analysis, and operational alignment. \nLearn and document core accounting processes and suggest improvements as BinSentry grows.\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n0-2 years of accounting experience (Co-op and internship experience count).\nWorking towards your CPA designation.\nProficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) is a must.\nAbility to demonstrate logic and analytical skills to identify and solve problems.\nExceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to perform under tight timelines with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred\nExperience with NetSuite is a plus.\nCo-op or internship experience with month-end close, reconciliations, or audit support.\nWhy Join BinSentry\nGain direct exposure to senior Finance leadership and cross-functional teams.\nOpportunity for career growth as the company continues its fast-paced growth trajectory.\nMission-driven work: Our technology supports the people and operations that feed the world.\n\nWe use artificial intelligence tools to support parts of our recruitment process, such as screening or assessing applications.
