This role designs and executes studies that validate product performance, expand application capabilities, and support emerging research areas. Working closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, R&D, and external collaborators, the Applications Scientist translates scientific findings into evidence-based application strategies, technical content, and customer-relevant solutions. The position serves as a scientific subject matter expert, helping bridge application development, scientific communication, and commercialization efforts.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, optimize, execute, and analyze scientific studies, workflows, and experimental approaches that generate application data, validate product performance and support technology adoption.\n\nDevelop application strategies and generate scientific evidence to address customer needs, emerging research, and market opportunities.\n\nTranslate scientific findings into technical documentation, scientific publications, application notes, educational and promotional content.\n\nCollaborate with Product Management, Marketing, R&D, and Commercial teams to support product development, launch readiness, application expansion, and commercialization efforts.\n\nEstablish and maintain relationships with scientific collaborators, customers, and external partners to advance application development and scientific understanding.\n\nProvide scientific expertise and technical guidance, and application support to internal stakeholders and customer-facing teams.\n\nPartner with Applications Marketing and Product Marketing to communicate scientific findings and ensure application-focused materials accurately reflect experimental data and customer workflows.\n\nRepresent the organization at scientific meetings, conferences, webinars, and customer engagements, serving as a subject matter expert for assigned technologies and applications.\n\nMonitor scientific trends, competitive technologies, and emerging research areas to identify opportunities for application innovation and growth.\n\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nQualifications\nEducation:\nAdvanced scientific training in a relevant life sciences discipline or equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
