Bio-Techne, and all of its brands, provides tools for researchers to further treat and prevent disease worldwide.\nPay Range:\n$18.40 - $25.30Position Summary:\nThe Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the effective management of inventoried materials within the warehouse and production environment. This position supports receiving, inventory control, cycle counting, inventory transactions, material movements, and inventory accuracy initiatives. The role works closely with Warehouse, Production, Quality, Planning, and Procurement teams to resolve inventory discrepancies, maintain ERP data integrity, and support continuous improvement of inventory control processes.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMaintain accurate inventory records through timely and accurate ERP transactions.\n\nPick and stage materials for production orders and internal customer requests.\n\nPost receipts for incoming raw materials and finished goods received from suppliers.\n\nPerform inventory put-away activities and ensure materials are stored in designated inventory locations.\n\nCreate and process ERP transactions and inventory journals related to material movements, adjustments, transfers, and scrap.\n\nCreate, maintain, and modify inventory locations in both physical storage areas and ERP systems.\n\nMonitor inventory accuracy and investigate inventory variances, shortages, overages, and transaction discrepancies.\n\nPerform cycle counts according to established schedules and support annual physical inventory activities.\n\nResearch and resolve inventory discrepancies through transaction reviews and root cause analysis.\n\nSupport inventory audits by maintaining accurate documentation and inventory records.\n\nVerify inventory quality by inspecting labels, quantities, item numbers, lot numbers, batch information, and storage conditions.\n\nMaintain inventory traceability and compliance with FIFO/FEFO requirements where applicable.\n\nConsolidate materials and optimize warehouse storage locations to maximize space utilization.\n\nSupport scrap reporting, inventory adjustments, and disposition processes.\n\nPull, load, transport, and unload inventory throughout warehouse and production areas as required.\n\nTrack and communicate inventory control metrics including cycle count accuracy, inventory adjustments, and location accuracy.\n\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation of inventory control best practices.\n\nMaintain clean, organized, and compliant inventory storage areas.\n\nComplete required company and departmental training.\n\nFollow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.\n\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation and Experience:\nRequires a High School diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years of relevant experience;
