Serve as customer contact on technical and service-related problems. Demonstrate uses and advantages of company products. Utilize scientific experience and work closely with sales, marketing, QA/QC, research and development to address customer concerns, determine corrective action and customer follow-up.\nKey Responsibilities \nOffers technical support to customers on use of company products (complaint follow-up and answering customer questions, etc.)\nWorks on problems of diverse scope where analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors\nProvides guidance and recommendations on products based on end user needs and research interests, and utilizes customer interactions to improve business opportunities\nParticipate in selected Subject Matter Expert (SME) team. This includes developing and maintaining Subject Matter (SM) materials\nWrites, edits, and maintains technical literature (Q/A database, product inserts, protocols, and internal reference databases)\nKeeps up to date on current technology and use of product lines (attending seminars, reading current scientific literature, using products in lab)\nCoordinates Notifications, including Field Notifications, Discontinuations and New Product Releases\nProvides Technical Training and literature for internal customers\nPerforms additional duties as assigned\nJob Qualifications \nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent in molecular biology, laboratory science, immunology, cell biology, biochemistry\n2+ years of laboratory experience\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nExtensive technical skills in one of the following areas, and general knowledge in remaining areas: Cell Culture, ELISA, Western blot, Flow Cytometry, IHC/ICC, Molecular Biology, Protein Chemistry\nProblem solving and critical thinking, which includes the ability to identify and appropriately evaluate an alternative course of action\nVerbal and written communication including technical writing skills.\nPresentation skills, allowing the ability to communicate professionally across all layers of the organization, as well as with customers\nAssisting customers in a professional manner.\nAbility to establish effective relationships throughout the company, to solicit key ideas and information.\nCritical review of scientific literature to identify key points or concepts and summarize. \nPlanning, organizing, time management, and multi-tasking to complete assignments in an efficient manner\nWillingness and ability to work with a variety of computer applications and quickly apply these tools to fulfill the duties of the job with respect to communications, documentation, data analysis and customer support.
