Bio-Techne, and all of its brands, provides tools for researchers to further treat and prevent disease worldwide.\nPay Range:\n$27.20 - $37.40Position Summary:\nA Senior Equipment Technician will install and perform PMs on the site’s capital equipment. This will include complex repairs and calibrations of high complexity. Additionally, this role will provide support and provide training for other team members working on smaller-scale and minor equipment maintenance. This position will also serve as an important partner to the department by assisting in strategic planning, vendor management, and protocol guidance.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform installation, maintenance, repairs, and routine inspections on capital and manufacturing equipment. \nPerform calibrations on high level complex equipment and have knowledge of metrology practices. \nCoordinate maintenance and repairs on highly complex systems/equipment. \nCoordinate and schedule daily steam plant operation and repair. \nCross functionally coordinates project planning around operations manufacturing schedule. \nPerform daily activities such as calibrations, repairs and PMs within the various clean rooms. \nFix plumbing, electrical components, hardware, lighting, and building HVAC systems both in and out of clean rooms. \nFacilitate meetings regarding/overseeing equipment procurement and overall project initiatives. \nWork with vendors to purchase equipment and negotiate contracts. \nCoordinate with external vendors and oversee their work while onsite. \nUnderstand, utilize, edit, and author SOPs. \nInvestigate and author non-conformance reports. \nPeriodically review department procedures to identify and implement process improvements. \nWork within the Regulatory Asset Manager (RAM) to enter and document new equipment as well as establish and evaluate calibration and maintenance schedules. \nManagement of the BAS (Building Automation System). \nTrain and mentor Equipment Technicians and Advanced Equipment Technicians. \nCreate and review existing work instructions for Equipment Technicians and Advanced Equipment Technicians. \nApprove and assign work order requests. \nRoutine operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. \nFollow guidelines and comply with all company safety, quality, and training procedures and regulations. \nEnsure all facilities projects and facility changes meet safety regulations and building codes. \nPerform additional duties as assigned. \nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation and Experience:\nRequires a High School diploma or equivalent and 5-8 years of relevant experience;
