Depending on the location, an average of 3 overnights per week is to be expected.\nPosition Summary\nJoin our team as a Senior Field Application Specialist where you will be the vital link between cutting-edge spatial biology technology and the scientists who use it. In this dynamic role, you'll combine your scientific expertise with customer-facing skills to train researchers, troubleshoot complex technical challenges, and shape the future of our products through direct customer feedback.\nWith extensive travel across diverse markets, you'll be instrumental in expanding the impact of innovative life science solutions worldwide.\nKey responsibilities:\nTrain and support customers in operating the setup, developing their protocols, panels and implementing staining assays properly.\nAttend conferences, symposia and customer meetings and present the product and its applications with a scientific and technical depth.\nInvestigate problems at customer sites and resolve them in collaboration with the Technical Support Team, Service Engineers and where needed also with the help of the Product Management and R&D teams.\nProvide scientific applications support in assay development and development of image analysis algorithms. \nCollaborate effectively with the Sales team to plan and execute pre- and post-sales support.\nDevelop and maintain a positive relationship with customers via proactive and regular visits or calls.\nRemote employees are required to travel to the Swiss site on request to deliver configured product demos for prospects.\nIdentify and keep track of all details and feedback at the customer site to the broader Marketing, Product Management and R&D teams.\nHelp defining customer requirements and applications for new products.\nEducation, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:\nYou have a Master or PhD degree in Biology, Life sciences, Bioengineering, Medicine or in a related field allowing you to easily understand the product’s applications.\nHands-on experience in in-situ techniques including immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, in-situ hybridization, multiomics or microscopy is strongly desired.\nExperience in image analysis spatial data is a strong plus.\nSeveral years of prior experience in supporting customers in a highly technical field, with demonstrated commitment to customer is highly valued.\nAbility to effectively write technical supporting documents.\nExperience in CRM applications and maintenance is helpful.\nYou are independent, confident, and creative in running experiments in a laboratory.\nYou are a good listener, you like interacting with people and bring advice and solutions to them and demonstrate good customer service skills.\nYou can adapt in a dynamic environment.\nYou demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills.\nYou demonstrate good organizational skills and attention to detail.\nYou like travelling.\nFluency in oral and written English is a must.
