Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabcorp is seeking a Core Lab Supervisor (Second Shift) to join our- Core Automated Testing team in Indianapolis, IN!\nWork Schedule: Monday-Friday, rotating Tuesday-Saturday 2-10:30pm\nJob Responsibilities:\nSupervise day-to-day production and non-production laboratory activities\nEnsure quality and accuracy of testing performed by supervised staff\nAssign appropriately trained personnel and manage staffing levels to meet workload demands\nSchedule staff to align with workflow requirements\nProvide direct supervision, coaching, performance feedback, and troubleshooting support\nOversee non-production activities such as validations, surveys, and quality initiatives\nMonitor performance metrics and ensure timely completion of QC, PT, and reporting activities\nEnsure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards\nSupport audits, inspections, client visits, and inquiries\nAssist the department manager and act as delegate when needed\nParticipate in staff recruitment, training, development, and retention\nPerform testing duties within area of competence as required\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry or other life science.\nFour or more years of relevant clinical laboratory experience\nPreferred Qualifications:\nASCP, MLS, AMT or equivalent certification\nPrevious supervisor experience\nAdditional Job Standards:\nStrong leadership and team supervision skills\nKnowledge of clinical laboratory operations and regulatory requirements\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills\nComputer proficiency and ability to work with laboratory information systems\nLaboratory environment\nExposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous chemicals\nNo routine travel required\n***Sign-on Bonus $7,500*** Internal Employees Not Eligible for Sign-on Bonus\nBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
