Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabcorp is seeking aremote Credit and Collections Specialist to join our team!\nWork Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST\nJob Responsibilities:\nFollow SOP’s to reduce aging AR >60-day balances\nOutreach to customers by phone, email, and/or letters\nHandle sensitive information in a confidential manner\nPrepare updates on account resolution for various levels of leadership\nDocument all activities and attempts to reduce balances\nPrepare placement packages for outside attorneys for possible litigation\nCommunicate via telephone with operations management, physicians, attorneys, and internal customers\nUtilize tools to obtain improved billing information\nPerform research and evaluation of complex projects/assignments to identify and measure financial implications\nAnalyze and determine areas for process improvement and education\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED or equivalent\n1 year of work experience in a call center, customer service, collections, or healthcare billing-related work experience\nAdditional Job Standards\nPrior work experience with meeting deadlines and weekly goals\nProficiency in Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to Excel\nAbility to compile and organize data\nCritical thinking skills and a basic understanding of medical and computer skills\nAbility to work independently and manage time effectively\nDedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions\nInternet download speed of at least 50 Mbps (no satellite internet)\nEquipment must be connected via Ethernet (Wi-Fi, mobile routers, or hotspots are not supported\nApplication Window Closes: 10/23/2026\nPay Range: $17.75 - $18.50/Hour\nAll job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.\nAt Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
