Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nIntern-Clinpath\nLabcorp is seeking an Intern-Clinpath to join our team at in Shanghai,China\nInternship Details:\nDuration: 30 weeks, full-time/Onsite\nDates of Internship: Oct2026 - Jun 2027\nCompensation: Paid internship\nEligibility: Final-year students who are expected to graduate in July 2027 are preferred.\nHowever, students at all academic levels who are pursuing relevant fields of study are encouraged to apply.\nAbout Team:\nShanghai Clinical Pathology Services (CPS) carries out health assessments based on the laboratory examination of bodily fluids like blood and urine using a number of analytical methods.\nClinical pathology at LabCorp evaluates drug safety and supports preclinical research. The CPS laboratory scientist has an in-depth understanding of clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and urine analysis, employing some of the most cutting-edge diagnostic technology for animals.\nWe can typically analyze 200-300 samples each day, including pharmacology, DMPK and toxicological samples. However, this can change depending on how much research we have going at once and how sophisticated it is.\nStudents will gain real-world experience working as part of a drug development team in the laboratory.\nUnderstands quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.\nThe intern will be exposed to pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical aspects of the department workflow and the applications of various assays.\nInstruction and mentorship will be provided.\nAt the end of training, the student will do a presentation to fulfill his/her understanding in the project assignment.\nInternship Assignment Summary:\nThis program will provide students with valuable hands-on experience and students will gain clinical experience working in the laboratory of a drug development company.\nAttend laboratory modules linked to quality control management, pipetting skills and the various informatics labware.\nEngage in professional development workshops to enhance your soft skills and professional presence.\nGood Laboratory Practice.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nCurrent enrollment in a Medical Laboratory Science, Biology or Chemistry Bachelor's degree program.\n3 months or more experience using computer and office software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAble to organize data and documents effectively.\nAdditional Job Standards:\nGood organization and multitasking ability.\nAble to communicate effectively with excellent verbal/written communication skills.\nExceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.\nCreative and self-motivated individuals who work collaboratively in a high-performance team environment.\nAbout the Program As a Labcorp intern, you’ll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background.
