Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabcorp is seeking a fully remote Payroll Intern to join our Global Payroll Team in Poland.\nWork Schedule:\nDays/Hours: Monday-Friday / 40 hours per week.\nJob Responsibilities:\nSupport various International Payroll teams through rotational assignments.\nShadow payroll processors to gain understanding of payroll operations and compliance requirements.\nLearn payroll processing fundamentals, payroll controls and statutory requirements.\nParticipate in team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and training activities.\nAssist with payroll data gathering, validation, and preparation activities.\nSupport payroll year-end activities and annual compliance processes.\nAssist with payroll invoicing activities, including invoice tracking and review.\nMaintain and update payroll trackers, such as vendor invoice, Leave of Absence (LOA), Garnishment, Overpayment and Project status trackers\n­ Analyze payroll data using advanced Excel functions, formulas, pivot tables, and reporting techniques. Identify data discrepancies and assist with resolution efforts.\nSupport global and regional payroll projects through collating, organizing and validating large amounts of data.\nSupport testing, documentation, and other activities during implementations and / or process improvements.\nUpdate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on information provided by payroll processors and subject matter experts.\nSupport payroll teams in organizing and restructuring payroll folders and documentation repositories.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s in business administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Human Resources, Data Analytics, or a related field.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills in English.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCurrently pursuing Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Human Resources, Data Analytics, or a related field\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. \nAdditional Job Standards:\nStrong academic record in Business, Finance, Human Resources, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.\nProficiency in MS Office Products specifically Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.\nExperience creating and utilizing complex formulas, Lookup functions, Pivot Tables, Data validation techniques, Conditional formatting etc.\nFamiliarity with Power Query, Macros, or other automation tools preferred.\nInterest in Payroll, HR Operations, Finance Operations, or Shared Service environments.\nExperience working with large datasets is considered an advantage.\nAbout the role:\nThe Global Payroll Intern supports the Global Payroll team through a structured rotational program across various International Payroll teams. This role provides hands-on exposure to payroll operations, payroll compliance, reporting, project support, and process improvement activities across multiple countries within the applicable region.\nThe successful candidate will work closely with payroll professionals to develop practical payroll knowledge while applying strong analytical and advanced Microsoft Excel skills to improve reporting, tracking, and data validation processes.
