Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabcorp is seeking an Intern - Sample Management (BioAnalytical) to join our team in Singapore\nInternship Details:\n Duration: at least 20 weeks, full-time (Onsite)\nDates of Internship: Jan - Jun 2027\nCompensation: Paid internship\nEligibility: Final-year students who are expected to graduate in Jul/Aug 2027 are preferred. However, students at all academic levels who are pursuing relevant fields of study are encouraged to apply.\nAbout Team:\nThe Sample Management Department provides a comprehensive overview of sample lifecycle management, from shipment receipt through final sample disposition. You will gain an understanding of the chain of custody processes used to track and manage samples throughout their journey, ensuring sample integrity, regulatory compliance, and the reliability of laboratory-generated data.\nInternship Assignment Summary:\nStudent will gain hands-on experience working in the Sample Managementteamwithin a drug development environment.\nDevelop a good understanding of sample lifecycle management, from shipment receipt, accessioning, storage, retrieval, and final sample disposition.\nLearn chain of custody principles and documentation practices to ensure sample traceability, integrity, and regulatory compliance.\nBe trained in the use of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and other informatics tools used for sample tracking and inventory management.\nPerform sample processing activities, including receipt verification, labeling, storage, packaging, and shipment preparation.\nGain exposure to laboratory quality systems, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and applicable regulatory requirements.\nInstruction and mentorship will be provided.\nAt the end of the training, the student will deliver a presentation to demonstrate their understanding of sample management processes and any assigned project work.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nCurrent enrollment in Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, Chemistry, or related Bachelor's degree programs. Other degree programs can also be considered.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProficient in Excel (including VBA and Macros).\nAble to organize data and documents effectively.\nDemonstrates the ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and internal/external colleagues.\nHave the “can-do” and proactive mindset when resolving issues.\nAdditional Job Standards:\nGood organization and multitasking ability.\nAble to communicate effectively with excellent verbal/written communication skills.\nExceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.\nCreative and self-motivated individuals who work collaboratively in a high-performance team environment.\nAbout the Program\nAs a Labcorp intern, you’ll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background.
