Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabcorp is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join our team in Raritan, NJ.\nWork Schedule: Monday - Friday (6:30am-3pm)\nJob Responsibilities\nOperate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, cardboard bailer, scanners) safely and efficiently\nMaintain warehouse, stockroom, and supply areas to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment\nMaintain documentation and records for inventory transactions and audits\nMonitor inventory levels and distribute supplies (e.g., lab coats and other consumables) to staff as needed\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, lab staff, operations) to ensure smooth supply flow\nReceive, inspect and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders to ensure accuracy\nAccurately process received goods into the inventory management system in a timely manner\nMaintain appropriate stock levels by ensuring all workstations are consistently and properly supplied\nAssist in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste\nSupport cost reduction efforts by optimizing supply usage, minimizing waste and maintaining efficient inventory\nRestock unused materials or return excess inventory to the designated warehouse locations\nMaintain accurate inventory control in accordance with company policies and standard operating procedures\nSupport and participate in cycle counts and full physical inventory audits\nIdentify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or inventory issues to leadership promptly\nFollow safety guidelines and company procedures to ensure compliance with workplace standards\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nPreferred Qualifications\n3 months or more of experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or inventory control environment\n3 months or more of experience in of supply chain, materials management, or logistics operations\nAdditional Job Standards\nComfortability with handling biological specimens \nAbility to accurately identify specimens \nBasic computer knowledge and data entry skills\nAbility to work independently and within a team environment\nHigh level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask\nAbility to work in a fast paced production environment and meet established turn-around times\nStrong communication skills; both written and verbal\nAbility to handle the physical requirements of the position\nAble to pass a standardized color blindness test\nFlexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs\nAt Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
