Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabcorp is seeking a Metrology Supervisor to join our Facilities team in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.\nWork Schedule: 37h/week, Monday - Thursday 8.45am - 5pm, Friday 8.45am - 4.30pm.\nJob Responsibilities:\nLead, coach, and develop a team of Metrology Technicians to achieve operational and compliance objectives.\nServe as a subject matter expert (SME) for calibration, equipment qualification, validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.\nDrive continuous improvement and compliance initiatives across local and regional sites.\nDevelop and maintain calibration procedures, SOPs, policies, forms, and other controlled documentation.\nSupport regulatory, client, and internal audits by providing technical expertise and documentation.\nManage quality events, investigations, root cause analyses, CAPAs, and change controls within electronic Quality Management Systems.\nLead harmonization projects and process improvement initiatives across the organization.\nPartner with laboratory and operational teams on equipment selection, validation, and lifecycle management.\nCollaborate with vendors and sourcing teams to establish and manage service agreements and supplier qualifications.\nContribute to budget planning and capital expenditure requests\nMinimum Qualifications:\nEducated to A-Level or Equivalent\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree or other continuing education\nAdditional Job Standards:\nASQ, PMEL, Lean Six Sigma, or similar professional certification.\nPrevious people leadership experience.\nExtensive metrology experience in regulated laboratory, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environments.\nStrong knowledge of GMP, GLP, GCP, and Good Documentation Practices.\nExperience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.\nLabcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer:\nLabcorp strives for inclusion and belonging in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
