Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our team in Maryville, IL\nWork Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm; Saturdays as assigned (must be flexible).\nJob Responsibilities\nObserve and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisors\nTrain and assist with the onboarding of new hires\nManage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs\nPromote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers\nPerform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups\nCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.\nPerform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner\nProcess billing information and collect payments when required\nPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis\nAdministrative and clerical duties as necessary\nTravel to additional sites when needed\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n1 year of experience as a phlebotomist\nPreferred Qualifications\n3 years or more of phlebotomy experience\nAdditional Job Standards\nIn lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency\nIn depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques\nProven track record in providing exceptional customer service\nStrong communication skills; both written and verbal\nAbility to work independently or in a team environment\nComfortable working under minimal supervision\nReliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable\nFlexibility to work overtime as needed\nAble to pass a standardized color blindness test\nBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
