Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nSample Coordinator III\nLabcorp is seeking a Sample Coordinator III to join our team in Shanghai, China.\nJob Responsibilities:\nResponsible for the entry and tracking of standards, blank matrix and samples. Performs a variety of sample accession responsibilities in compliance with appropriate SOPs and regulatory guidelines, in support of departmental operations. Providing leadership and training within the team. Responsible as a primary contact for process revision and issue resolutions.\nPerforms any combination of sample accession tasks, including opening, entering, tracking, labeling, shipping and disposition of samples. Reviews sample inventory against samples to ensure accuracy and communicate discrepancies. Communicates confirmation of sample receipt to clients, if appropriate. Distributes sample information and paperwork.\nSolves problems independently, contacting internal or external clients for clarification as needed.\nHandles internal and external customer inquiries and requests.\nResponsible for upkeep, entry and accuracy of sample tracking systems.\nCertified to be an “after hours sample receipt” team member, as appropriate.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\nCommunicates confirmation of sample receipt to clients, if appropriate. Communicates discrepancies to appropriate personnel.\nAssists in training new employees, working with and directing less experienced staff, and prioritizing workloads and/or special projects on a daily basis. Organizes trains and schedules members of the team, ensures all shifts are covered.\nMay perform routine instrument calibration and maintenance.\nContributes towards a cohesive team environment.\nIntroduces and develops improvement ideas for the group, working with management.\nMay assists in writing text for SOP, protocols, methods or reports.\nApproved as an authorized environmental system monitor and after hours responder. Maintains the logbooks, if appropriate, for the department and ensures accuracy of information they contain. Completes all paperwork associated with the environmental monitoring system and units attached to the system.\nDrives the cohesive team environment effort.\nIndependently introduces, develops and implements improvement ideas for the group.\nActs as a lead coordinator responsible for training new employees, working with and directing less experienced staff, and prioritizing workloads and/or special projects on a daily basis.\nKits management, as appropriate.\nMinimum Required:\nBachelor Degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacy, and pharmaceutical analysis.\n4 years of experience in sample coordination and management.\n3 months or more experience using computer and office software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, MS-Access and Outlook).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExcellent customer service skills including attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and effective communication skills.\nAbility to identify and communicate customer service needs.\nEffective conflict resolution skills.\nAbility to use a variety of computer applications and proficient at the department specific software used.\nExcellent documentation skills.\nAt Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
