Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabcorp is seeking a Scientist I - Metabolite ID and Profiling to join our team in Madison, WI!\nJob Responsibilities:\nIn this role, you will perform day-to-day technical management of studies.\nDevelopment and application of qualitative Liquid Chromatography-High Resolution Mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS) for identification of metabolites in multiple species and multiple biological matrices.\nInterpretation of MS/MS fragmentation pathways for structure elucidation of metabolites.\nApplication of radiolabel isotope techniques for profiling and metabolite quantitation.\nProfiling and structure elucidation of drug candidate metabolites using LC/MS and radiodetection and other techniques as appropriate\nPerforms day-to-day technical management of studies with occasional mentorship and guidance management to develop general expertise in the field.\nResponsible for the design, conduct and reporting of studies to meet scientific, regulatory and client requirements. (Studies will be of intermediate complexity in design and scope)\nReviews technical validity of projects and results with occasional help from more experienced scientists.\nEvaluates data for report preparation and experiment modification, as applicable and writes comprehensive reports.\nProject management responsibilities, including: client interaction.\nCo-authorship of scientific papers and posters. \nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor of Science degree with 7 or more years of experience in a laboratory OR Master of Science degree with 3 or more years of experience in a laboratory.\n3 or more years of experience with Liquid Chromatography - Mass spectrometry (LC-MS)\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPh.D.\nAdditional Job Standards:\n· Knowledge of GLP and regulatory guidelines.\n· Ability to effectively organize and manage projects in a timely manner.\n· Ability to conduct literature reviews.\n· Ability to effectively perform data interpretation and report writing for studies.\nLabcorp is an established and stable company where you can find professional growth and career advancement.
