Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.\nPAML a Labcorp company is seeking a Technologist Trainee to join our team in Spokane, WA\nWork Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday 4:00 pm to 2:30 am overtime and additional days or hours may be required\nJob Responsibilities You Will Learn:\nDetermine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria\nPerform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures\nMonitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality\nDemonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.\nPrepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls\nReport accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care\nPerform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures\nIdentify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary\nAssist with processing of specimens when needed\nMaintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Medical Lab Science, Biology, Chemistry\nPreferred Qualifications:\n6 months or more prior experience in a Clinical or Hospital Lab\nAdditional Job Standards:\nAbility to work independently and within a team environment\nAble to pass a standardized color blindness test\nHigh level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask\nFlexibility to work overtime as needed\nExceptional customer service\nStrong communication skills; both written and verbal\nAbility to work independently or in a team environment\nComfortable working under minimal supervision\nAre you an experienced Medical Lab Professional?
