Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabcorp is seeking Warehouse Associate I to join our team in Indianapolis, IN!\nWork Schedule: Rotating Schedule 6am-6pm\nThe Warehouse Associate I performs most of the receiving data entry, expedites late or problematic orders or deliveries, provides daily receiving reports for accounts payable, performs all cycle counts, maintains and reports all monthly expired Warehouse items.\nEssential Job Duties:\nPerforms warehouse picks for both batch and transfer orders\nPerforms a variety of duties related to driving, receiving, inventory control and shipping in a safe and efficient manner.\nDeliver materials or samples to proper locations. Campus wide deliveries made with company owned box truck. No CDL required\nLoads and unloads freight in a safe manner. Operates any material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Makes certain all equipment needed for handling and moving goods is available and in safe working condition.\nVerify contents of material received under purchase orders.\nReport shortages, damages, and incorrect shipments on appropriate forms and to designated personnel. \nUsing internal computer systems, enter purchase order, sample, and/or inventory receipts, perform inquiries and print appropriate paperwork.\nEnsure proper rotation and organization of stock and participate in physical inventories. \nConfirm internal stock requisitions, pick requested items, ensure that the correct number and types of product are picked and delivered.\nMaintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse area. Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.\nAssists with preparing documents and dangerous goods shipments (e.g.; package, secure container for shipment, affix appropriate label, and complete required documentation using shipping software). Assists in the preparation of and apply for necessary shipping permits.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh-School diploma\nTwo years experience in warehouse, shipping or inventory control\nValid drivers license\nPreferred Qualifications:\nForklift certified\nAdditional Job Standards:\nAbility to work independently\nAbility to use computer and office software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)\nStrong verbal and written skills\nAttention to detail\nAt Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
