This role provides technical solution development and hands-on support for DeltaV DCS and Syncade MES systems, partnering cross-functionally to design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve automation solutions that support biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for recipe authoring, software configuration, validation activities, change controls, troubleshooting, and ensuring seamless integration with systems such as PI Historian, Oracle, CMMS, Veeva, and Labware (LIMS). This position plays a critical role in optimizing manufacturing operations, enhancing system reliability, and supporting the site's long-term automation strategy.\nWhat You'll Do\nConfigure and maintain DeltaVDCSand SyncadeMES software to support process improvements, new products, and new equipment implementations.\nPartner with Process Owners, Manufacturing, and cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement software that meetsoperational and engineering requirements.\nAuthor, review, and approve MES and DeltaV DCS documentation, including lifecycle documents, project documents, procedures, work instructions, and validation deliverables.\nCreate and execute software testing scripts and support software validation activities in accordance with established procedures and GAMP 5 principles.\nDefine and support validation strategies in collaboration with Quality representatives and ensure consistency in execution across disciplines.\nExecute and manage change controls for DeltaV DCS and SyncadeMESsystems while maintaining compliance with site procedures and quality requirements.\nTroubleshoot MES and DCS system issues during testing and manufacturing operations, including participation in an on-call support rotation.\nIdentify and implement opportunities for optimization in system design, programming, testing, integrations, and operational processes.\nCollaborate with automation, data systems, manufacturing, and engineering teams to ensure systems continue to meet evolving site needs.\nSupport and lead small to medium engineering projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to quality standards.\nEvaluate technical options and recommend optimal solutions for system enhancements and integrations.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational excellence through automation solutions.\nMaintain training requirements, establish development goals, and support knowledge sharing across the team.\nWho You Are\nYou are a technically capable automation professional who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
