As a Materials Handler, you will support the commercial objectives of the site by ensuring GMP warehouse activities are performed in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.\nWorking closely with Supply Chain teams, raw material suppliers, and external service providers, you will help ensure the timely availability of materials and services needed to support manufacturing operations. This role combines hands-on warehouse activities with inventory management, material control, and documentation responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment where accuracy, compliance, and teamwork are essential to success.\nThis role is fully site-based and requires working Monday through Friday as part of a two-shift manufacturing operation. The shift pattern rotates weekly between 07:00-15:30 and 15:00-23:00.\nWhat You'll Do:\nAdhere to GMP warehouse procedures and site SOPs, escalating any procedural non-compliance as appropriate.\nMaintain high housekeeping and safety standards to support a quality-focused, audit-ready warehouse environment.\nReceive, inspect, and process inbound and outbound shipments, including temperature-controlled materials, ensuring compliance with GMP requirements and storage conditions.\nReceive raw materials, verify supporting documentation, and accurately record transactions within inventory management systems.\nEnsure materials are correctly identified, segregated, stored, and supplied to support manufacturing operations.\nPerform cycle counts and support investigations into inventory discrepancies and stock variances.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with applicable company policies and regulatory requirements, including cGMP, GDP, SOX, and HSE standards.\nWho You Are:\nYou are a detail-oriented warehouse professional who thrives in a regulated manufacturing environment and takes pride in accuracy, compliance, and teamwork. You have experience within pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, or life sciences operations and are comfortable balancing warehouse activities with documentation and inventory management tasks. You are a strong communicator, enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, and bring a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and GMP compliance.\nRequired Qualifications:\nThird-level qualification in Supply Chain, Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.\n2-5 years of warehouse experience within a pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, or life sciences manufacturing environment.\nExperience working with inventory management systems, including SAP and Oracle.\nExperience in shipping, receiving, and managing temperature-controlled materials within pharmaceutical or life sciences operations.\nExperience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.\nStrong documentation, record management, and inventory control skills.\nEffective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.\nUnderstanding of warehouse operations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nSupply Chain qualification or professional certification.\nJob Level: Entry LevelWhy Biogen?\nWe are a global team with a commitment to excellence, and a pioneering spirit.
