This role supervises staff, coordinates workflows, and implements process improvements to support organizational goals. The Operations Supervisor ensures compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while fostering a positive and accountable team environment.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\n· Supervise and coordinate daily operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards\n· Lead, coach, and develop team members to drive performance and engagement\n· Monitor production or operational metrics and identify areas for improvement\n· Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs\n· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations\n· Manage employee scheduling, attendance, and timekeeping\n· Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address performance issues\n· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality, HR, Maintenance) to resolve operational challenges\n· Investigate and resolve operational issues, including equipment, staffing, or process disruptions\n· Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on operational performance\nRequirements\nQualifications & Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred \n3-5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, or a related environment \nStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills \nProven ability to manage teams and drive performance improvements \nKnowledge of operational processes, safety standards, and quality systems \nProficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, IQMS, or similar) \nAbility to analyze data and make informed decisions \nStrong problem-solving and organizational skills\nTRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:\n§ Must attend leadership training as provided by Biomerics.\n§ Training on inspection equipment\n§ Blue Print reading.\n§ Previous leadership is desirable but not a must.\n§ ISO 9001-2008 and ISO 13485-2003\n§ Quality Policy\n§ Safety\n§ MSDS - Right to Know\nWhy Join Biomerics?\nAt Biomerics, you will be part of a collaborative and growth-oriented organization dedicated to improving lives through innovation and manufacturing excellence.
