Joining our team means becoming part of a dynamic, innovative, and caring community.\nJob Summary\nThe Quality Inspector II performs routine inspections of materials, components, and finished products independently and efficiently to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications. This intermediate-level role resolves common issues using established methods, follows documented processes, and may assist in supporting or mentoring less experienced team members.\nProvides training and guidance to staff on quality inspection techniques. \nUtilizes measuring instruments such as height gages, calipers, and durometers. \nUtilizes advanced measuring equipment including CMM and 3D Scanner. \nPerforms inspection and sampling of received materials, in-process, and finished product to ensure they meet company and/or customer requirements. \nCompiles measurement data and generates customer reports. \nProvides disposition of discrepant materials and updates daily scrap log. \nInspection of incoming tooling. \nPerforms first article inspection including report. \nPerforms customer returns inspection and investigation. \nMay perform in-house equipment calibrations. \nCommunicates pertinent quality related information to various departments. \nFollows all company safety policies and procedures. \nCompletes training per Biomerics - IMP Training Matrix - QA Inspectors. \nAdditional duties as assigned by supervisor. \nRequirements\nJob Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required. \nAdditional technical training or relevant coursework is a plus. \nMinimum of 1-2 years of related experience in quality inspection or a similar production or manufacturing environment. \nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions. \nProficiency with advanced measurement tools and inspection equipment. \nStrong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain thorough documentation. \nSolid problem-solving skills for routine issues and ability to follow established processes to resolution. \nBasic to intermediate computer skills, including use of office and quality systems. \nEffective communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members, including assisting less experienced staff as needed. \nAbility to work independently and efficiently while meeting deadlines. \nPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive inspection tasks.
