This role ensures timely delivery of materials throughout the facility while maintaining inventory accuracy, compliance with quality standards, and adherence to safety regulations.\nThe successful candidate will operate company vehicles and warehouse equipment, perform material transactions using warehouse management systems, and provide critical support to manufacturing and internal customers through just-in-time material replenishment practices. This is an entry-level role that offers opportunities to develop skills in logistics, inventory management, and supply chain operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nLogistics & Material Handling\nDrive designated routes as assigned by leadership.\nSafely transport finished goods and raw materials using company vehicles and warehouse equipment.\nPhysically and electronically move materials to designated storage and production locations.\nPerform real-time replenishment of materials to support internal customers and production needs.\nAssist with shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and order preparation activities as needed.\nInventory & Warehouse Operations\nReceive, inspect, quantify, and store incoming materials from various delivery sources.\nPerform inventory transactions and maintain accurate records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).\nComplete bin maintenance activities and maintain organized shelving and storage locations.\nEnsure a high level of accuracy when logging, labeling, tracking, and transporting materials.\nSupport inventory control activities and assist in identifying and managing non-conforming materials.\nTransportation & Compliance\nComply with all applicable State and Federal laws governing the operation of company vehicles.\nMaintain knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and Utah Administrative Rules for Motor Carriers.\nConduct pre-trip inspections and monitor vehicle maintenance needs.\nVerify deliveries to ensure materials meet quality standards before acceptance.\nDocument logistics Key Performance Objectives (KPOs) and operational data as required.\nSafety & Quality\nFollow all company safety policies and OSHA warehouse safety requirements.\nMaintain compliance with applicable training requirements and work instructions.\nPerform all duties in accordance with company quality standards and procedures.\nDemonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.\nPromote professionalism and effective communication with internal and external customers.\nAdditional Responsibilities\nSupport warehouse and logistics operations as needed.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nValid Utah Driver's License.\nAbility to successfully pass a State DOT physical and maintain a valid Medical Examiner Certificate.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in inventory control, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, or straight truck driving.\nMaterials handling experience within the medical device, biotechnology, or regulated manufacturing industry.\nFamiliarity with FDA-regulated material control practices.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nDemonstrates integrity, professionalism, and ethical behavior.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nEffective verbal communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.\nBasic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.\nAbility to accurately follow procedures and complete detailed documentation.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions\nThe employee must be able to:\nRemain in a stationary position, sitting or standing, for extended periods.\nAscend and descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and similar equipment.\nWear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for most of the workday.\nOperate warehouse equipment and heavy machinery safely.\nLift, carry, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds.\nMaintain three points of contact when entering and exiting vehicles.\nWork in warehouse and manufacturing environments.\nWhy Join Our Team?\nAt bioMérieux, you'll play an essential role in supporting the supply chain operations that help deliver critical products to customers around the world.
