OR HS diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience in experimental design and execution of flow cytometry assays, including antibody titrations, and optimizing and troubleshooting multicolor assays, as well as flow cytometry data analysis sing FlowJo or similar analysis software. \n\nPreferred Education, Training and Experience\nMaster's degree\nExperience with generating and optimizing compensation matrices to address fluorescence spectral overlap in multiparametric flow data\nFamiliarity with common biomarkers found on leukocytes, and/or familiarity with cell-based therapies and cellular engineering\nExperience with product development or instrument automation in an industry setting\nExperience with assay transfer to internal or external collaborators\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nGood documentation practices (GDP) and with drafting and reviewing documents such as SOPs and development reports\nConsistently upholds and reflects the core ethical principles and values that bioMérieux promotes.\nWritten Communications - including the ability to communicate technical data in written form\nEffectively deal with ambiguity requiring adaptability, critical thinking, and proactive communication to navigate situations with limited details\nManage and meet competing deadlines, requiring careful prioritization and time management to ensure all tasks are completed on time.\nCritical thinking, using logic and reason to analyze information and make decisions in the workplace.\nThriving in a fast-paced environment by managing tasks, multitasking, and adapting quickly to maintain productivity.\nSkilled in MS Office tools to include but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel\nAbility to design, execute, and analyze experiments with minimal oversight \nWorking Conditions and Physical Requirements\nAbility to remain in stationary position, either sitting or standing, for prolonged periods.\nAbility to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like.\nAbility to wear PPE correctly most of the day.\nAbility to operate heavy machinery.\nAbility to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.\nThe estimated salary range for this role based in Illinois is between $77,200 - 114,500. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux’s bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living.
